Accessibility Statement

Last updated 11 August 2026.

Williamson Scaffolding Ltd wants everyone to be able to use this website, whatever device or assistive technology they use.

What we have done

This website has been built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 at level AA, and with the Equality Act 2010 in mind. In practice that means:

  • Every part of the site can be used with a keyboard alone, and the item in focus is always clearly outlined.
  • A skip to content link is the first thing a keyboard or screen reader user reaches on every page.
  • Text meets a contrast ratio of at least 4.5 to 1 against its background.
  • Headings run in a logical order, and page structure uses proper landmarks.
  • Every form field has a visible label, and errors are described in words rather than by colour alone.
  • Images carry alternative text, and images used purely for decoration are hidden from screen readers.
  • The site respects the reduced motion setting on your device and turns animation off when you have asked for that.
  • The layout works down to small phone screens and reflows rather than requiring sideways scrolling.
  • The cookie banner can be operated by keyboard, moves focus to itself when it opens, and never traps focus.

Known limitations

Content added to the site after launch, such as new photographs or documents, depends on the person adding it. If you find something that has been added without a proper description, please tell us and we will fix it.

Telling us about a problem

If you find any part of this website difficult to use, contact us and we will do our best to put it right and to give you the information another way in the meantime.
